KANGAR: Six Form Five students from Kedah decided to play truant by travelling 50km to picnic at a recreational spot in Sungai Batu Pahat here today.
However, the 17-year old boys from a religious school in Kodiang, were nabbed by the Sungai Batu Pahat neighbourhood volunteer patrolling team at10am.
The team chief Che Suria Che Din said they saw the boys, two of whom were in school uniform, at the pool and questioned them.
"They claimed to have arrived late at school and decided to skip it altogether and go for an outing," he said.
He said their parents who were came to pick them up, said the boys left the homes in their school uniforms
